Ingredients:
1 lemon
7 organic oranges
1 inch of fresh ginger or turmeric
Rule of thumb is to eat whole fruit as it is designed by nature and juice your dark leafy greens. But from time to time I like juicing oranges as well.
Note:
Avoid brushing your teeth for at least 1 hour after eating/drinking acidic food for example orange juice. These acids temporarily weaken tooth enamel, leaving it more susceptible to decay as well as erosion. Rinse your mouth with filtered /spring water or some herbal tea.
Yummy!

Can I buy conventional oranges? Or are they full of pesticides and GMO fruit?

Hi Sandra,
Yes, you can buy conventionally grow oranges if you don’t have any other choice at the moment. Although try to find fresh organic fruit in your area. Depends on your location, ask your friends and family members if they know someone who have some fruit trees. Most people grow these trees in their yard and they will be happy to share this fresh fruit with you
You can also post an ad on craigslist.
Other option will be the farmers market, look up Farmers Market Directory online near you.
All the health food stores carry organic produce as well.

Why do you want to eat your fruits and juice your greens?

Hi Gina, fruits are higher on sugar, when you juice fruits and removed most of the fibers that will spike sugar in your bloodstream. When you eat the whole fruit and fiber is intact, fiber will slow down sugar absorption. To keep sugar content low, juice more vegetables, and add a small piece of fruit. The healthier choice is to eat your fruit whole. I hope this helps.
