    About distilled water I’ve read that within a couple of hours it absorbs enough carbon dioxide from the air to bring it down to a 5.8 pH.
    That said I’ve been using its “void value” to cold brew a very strong and alkaline rink from organic alfalfa pellets soaking and refrigerated for a week or more in distilled water gotten from the store. The same with dried kelp fronds. Body likes both the alfalfa drink and the kelp drink (add some lemon juice to kelp drink).
    When I took a strong cold brew of the kelp there was a strong pull on bronchial tubes for several days – much coughing.
